Been wanting to work with with burl for quite some time, but you can't buy just a small piece; you have to buy the entire board, not just a section. And I just don't have that kind of money to plunk down for a piece of wood. Everything I've come across in my rummagings is just a veneer. *

Sneers and grimaces

* Can't find solid wood my light pockets can afford, but I've always wanted to make a solid burl cabinet with curly maple drawers. Oh, if the imagination could fill the pocketbook and call me Mr. Ives.
Since it's been almost a year since my last post here, and I've become aware of the existance of clubs, I've finally joined a few...

- run by my lovely mate (I mostly lurk there since most of my stuff doesnt' really fit the category, unless we work on something together...

)

- can't believe the stuff there, honored to be in such company...

- I can't believe they favorited so many of my works - Thank You!

And

is just really talented and a nice person, how could I not?
